Posted September 17, 200717 yr The 5 newbies have joined the aviary flock at last. I put them out with the others a few days ago and they've settled in great. Here's some photos of the newbies as well as some of the other flock members. Jaws Cracker Bee Genie Mojo You can see their colours better now, it's much easier to take photos in the aviary than through the quarantine cage bars. September 18, 200717 yr Nice birds Bea & great photos, wish my camera took such clear shots. Bee’s spots are the best Spangle “Bull’s eye” spots that I have seen. I’m going to try to Breed a Grey Spangle soon, [Genie] as I don’t have one yet.
September 18, 200717 yr Wow has it been that long already! Bee’s spots are the best Spangle “Bull’s eye” spots that I have seen I was going to say the same think norm. Hers and the national winner this year are the best I've seen. Odd that Genie has spangle wing markings but full throat spots. She is still stunning and from the last shots I didn't realise Jaws was so pretty too.
September 18, 200717 yr Author I hadn't really noticed Bee's throat spots but now you mention it they are nice! Jaws is a gorgeous bird, i noticed when i was going through the photos that she's grown a BLACK throat spot!! She's cinnamon so she shouldn't have a black one should she?
