Hi ,

I just joined up a few days ago after discovering this forum. I am from Perth and have kept budgies ever since I was a kid. Now I have my own home I have 12 budgies in one aviary and 5 wieros in another. I have bred for a few seasons and managed to hand raise two beautiful birds for a friend and her mum which was very satisfying!

Look forward to sharing lots of pictures of my flock and chatting with you all.

Hi Rissa and welcome :) We have quite a few members here from Perth including myself..... and we quite often get together in person and we help each other out with birds and other things.

Cheeta, Feathers, Paulh29, Loren, and heaps of others are in Perth too. :)

Hi Rissa,

It is nice to welcome yet another Western Australian to the BBC forum. :) I look forward to photos and stories about your flock.

Feathers.

Welcome to our forums.

We have a great FAQ section that was revised back about 4 months ago so I know you will find great information there.

Always feel free to ask questions.

Welcome Rissa, I can't wait to see pictures. DO you know abot mutations and such? If not post in that area and we can help let you know their types.

 Welcome to BBC, looking forward to your pictures and adventure stories! :hap:

Hi All,

Thanks for the warm welcome. It's great to hear so many of you are from Western Australia. Sound like you are a great support for each other. I am slowly gathering photos of my flock. They are just so active at the moment now there is a bit more sun about so they are hard to photo!

I really don't know that much about the different varieties and mutations but the info on this forum is so helpful.

Hope to get some photos soon so I know exactly what I have.

Thanks

Rissa :)
