Posted September 11, 200717 yr I have recently noticed that one of my budgies has a green patch where his bars are. Does this mean he is a Dominant Pied? I was told he is a cobalt yellowface 2. Here is a picture of him. He is the one on the left. (not a great picture, but you can just see the green on his bars.) thanks in advance. Sammi.
September 17, 200717 yr i would say he was a opaline not a dominant pied, either way he looks like a very pretty bird
September 17, 200717 yr Like others say he looks like an Opaline…Opalines loose their bars on their heads, but are you meaning that he has a clear Pied marking on his head that we can’t see? If he had a clear Yellow patch on his head he could also be a Dominant Pied.
September 18, 200717 yr Any chance of some better photos ? Again....Any chance of some better and clearer photos ?
September 18, 200717 yr Author I can't get any better photos. The spot isn't yellow, it is green, so he must be Opaline. Thanks for the help.
