Posted September 5, 200717 yr I'm off on holiday tomorrow for a week and Pippin is going to a friends house to be looked after. I know that he will get the best care and attention with her, but my question is, will he miss me? Pippin is such a clingy little bird, and won't go to anyone other than me. I'm dreading the time coming when I have to take him, I'm just so worried he will start to pine. He was in hospital recently for 4 days and it took him a couple of days to come round to having anything to do with me He has now back to his happy little self But I'm not sure how he will be after 8 days. Can anyone ease my worries, or am I just being a neurotic mum ?
September 5, 200717 yr I am not sure if budgies pine or not but I think he will be just fine maybe they can keep his cage covered on 3 sides during the day to keep him settled and he feels safe in his new surroundings until you come back Have fun.

September 6, 200717 yr Dont worry he should be okay, I know how you feel at the end of september im going on to band camp and he'll miss me but he should be okay.
