Posted August 19, 200717 yr Took some photos of Poppy and Rocky tonight. They are really starting to bond and don't want much to do with us anymore. They are my son's and he doesn't mind, they will still sit on your finger for a short while but soon fly back into their cage. Poppy was one of my first babies, some of you might remember him.He still has white on the top of his tail feathers and his cere is still quite purple even though he is approx 10 months old.He was born 11/11/06. I can't remember how old Rocky is but she must be older than two,she was suppose to be mine but bonded with my son instead. Fluffy Poppy fluffy Rocky Poppy trying to get scratchies from rocky please rocky back off poppy close ups I love poppy's dark side markings What do you think these two would produce?Poppy mum was lutino & dad was normal green/split lutino. Rocky's mum was the same as her,not sure on dad. hope you like the photos!
August 19, 200717 yr Normals 50% and Spangles 50% Grey is an added factor so in a white (blue) based bird the bird is grey Single factor grey and sky blue would be 50% greys/50% blues Double factor grey would be 100% greys Poppy is split for ino (in a blue base) so if you get any ino's they will be females. Gorgeous birds , I love the phots Edited August 19, 200717 yr by Elly
