Looks like a maybe mouse got in ? :dbb1: Here in the two remaining chicks Eldest (started out with plum eyes ) Second chick ( an ino ) and "group hug " :ausb: Edited September 9, 200717 yr by **KAZ**
September 9, 200717 yr Is that bum shot just for Aly! Thanks for thinking of me I do love the bum shots Something weird happened in the nestbox. Looks like a mouse got in. I hope the chicks left go well. Feathers.
September 9, 200717 yr Sorry to hear about your losses, is that one of the cats from the Uncles place, in your Avatar, better get it after the mice, as it doesn’t seem like its got much constructive to do. Some of those b***** toilet rolls can do that without the help of a cat…(Laughing out loud)…
September 12, 200717 yr Author Eldest chick appears to be a Double Factor Yellow spangle ? Ino chick yet to feather. Edited September 12, 200717 yr by KAZ
September 12, 200717 yr you have them in a breeding box right Kaz, do you think a mouse could get in there?
September 12, 200717 yr Author you have them in a breeding box right Kaz, do you think a mouse could get in there? Yes. Mice can get through aviary mesh into the birdroom where the breeding boxes are. The breeding cabinets have normal spacing bars for cage fronts just like cages are made from and mice can get in through those if they want. When the new birdroom is done it should be mouseproof. I have poison and traps set in thw birdroom, but sometimes the mice are smarter than that :bluebudgie: Edited September 12, 200717 yr by KAZ
September 17, 200717 yr Author The DF Spangle hen chick and lutino chick and this chick is from another nest...grey green spangle dad and skyblue spangle mother ( show types ). One chick only. a DF white spangle. Means dad is split blue ...Yes ? Edited September 17, 200717 yr by KAZ
September 18, 200717 yr Author great pictures yet again. Are you still sure with lutino and not YF ino? Lutino ? No not sure. All I know is yellow pins. So YES maybe YF ino
September 18, 200717 yr I'm still seeing paler feathers on the head than the ones in the mask area on the DF. and the Red eye bubs looks to have paler wings than it's sibling..... and now you'll tell me that's from the flash :(Laughing out loud):
