I am so happy right now my head hurts

 

 

I ordered my cage and some other things two days ago. Just to let you know I got a diffrent cage it was bigger. You might not like this but it is house shaped.

I love the new cage it is so big! My bird will be so happy in there. I tried not to crowed it so there is some room to fly. Next \I need to get the bird.

 

 

I have a question: "How is a good way to tell if a budgie is a boy or girl when it is young?"

in our FAQ we have a good picture of sexling male to females at a young age.

Male budgie ceres at a young age are very pink and smooth sometimes they have small clear nasal rings

Female budgies are whitish pink and can have large white nasal rings

 

It is a nice cage a little on the tall side vs the wide side and will do well for 1 budgie. If you decide to get 2 I would upgrade.

l like the cage that you ordered, as like what Elly said that for one budgie the cage is fine but for more then one budgie, you should upgrade.

I think it is fantastic that you have spent so much time and effort researching your cage! Its a great cage I am sure your budgie will love it
