Been to my vets thay had a look at my snowwy it cost me £50 for him to say there is nothing wrong with him that he can tell but he is ill and that nothing is coming up on the results, but not to expect him to last much longer am devestated big time, iv only had him 2 weeks.

What type of testing did they do?

Did you go to an avian vet?

 

This doesn't sound normal all avian vets I know can at least some up with something or start them on antibiotics to fight of any infection.

 

I do feel you need to get a 2nd opinion and I am very sorry about all this. I would also contact the pet store or breeder about your bird falling ill.

:ausb: Very concerning and strange reaction from your vet, hope that Snowwy can overcome it all and if it wasn't an avian vet, best take him to one. When I had my dog I took him to one vet and my birds to my avian vet as he admitted he had only basic knowledge about birds. :dbb1:

if you feel that there is something wrong then l would go and get a 2nd opinion.
