Any suggestions I am guessing it is from Margoos side as he is White with the pales Blue on his rump and we worked it out that he was an Opaine last time and she is a Norm

Neat maybe one of the parents is split for cinnamon, if so the red eyes will go black looking soon about 8 days onwards.

OR If it's a red eye for a ino it means they are hens and your male is split for it.

Is the father split for albino or lutino? that's right hens will be ino and cocks will be split.

actually cock CAN be split there is a50/50 chance of getting the Ino gene or the normal gene.

I have a sky blue cock split for albino that I bred last year and I have put him with a yellow face grey hen. I could if lucky get a Yellow face albino

There's something special about finding a red eyed chick in a nest I cannot explain it. But I just got a surprise with a second chick hatched to a greygreen spangle hen and a grey green normal cock is a red eyed chick too.

okay Well the hen is a FULL ON OLVIE NORMAL and the Dad is I am guessing his paretns were an albino of some sort as his is the most white with the most palest blue through himThis isn't the best photo of them THey are the first 2 at the frontANOTHER CLOSE UP OF THEMDAZZ -The chicks are now 2 and abit weeks old

...just to mention that no Budgie is split for Albino. Albino is not a gene it is a composite of the blue gene and the ino gene. If you get an Albino from a green birds then odds are that the cock is split ino and both birds are split blue.

Well that is right with all sex linked genes. But with an Albino you need the blue.

The ino gene removes all colour except the yellow. The blue gene removed the yellow. On exception to this is the lacewings. The Cinnamon colouring caused by the gene with still show through. On The topic of Lacewing. I believe that it is a gene that a birds can be split to like the Clearbody. It is not just an ino and a cinnamon togeather. I think I put up some where the pairs for this.
