Well just in intrest if i had a green and yellow budgie :ygbudgie:

and a yellow budgie -_-

What would i get?

And if i had a green and yellow budgie :ygbudgie:

and a blue and white budgie

what would i get?

And how do you make the super cute budgies like this:

:ausb:

All budgies in my mind are super cute and remember we need to be breeding for health first and foremost not just super cute budgies.

A yellow bird is a bird with the green erased from his body due to either an ino gene or double factor gene etc.. It is still considered part of the green series which is dominant over blue. So unless your 2 birds were split for blue all the babies would be green/yellow or all yellow depending what gene the bird is giving to the off spring.

Because green is dominant over blue you would only get blue babies IF the green series bird was split for blue and the only way you would know that is if you knew what the parents were at least 3 generations back OR if this bird was proven to throw off the blue gene with blue hen.

Hope that answers your questions.
