My budgies (baby & daisy) bite me. I have been able to pick em up, but they end up trying to chew off my finger. How should I stop it?

First completely ignore the biting episode no matter how much it hurts. Budgies love reactions

 

Merlin bites me too at times and I blow on his face lightly and it stops him and then reward him with millet. Works like a charm but only reward after the behavior has stopped.

 

Others I have read flick their beaks very lightly and then again reward when the bad behavior has stopped.

when my budgies bit me, l gently push my finger towards them, making them lose their balance abit and they stop. then l reward them with alot of good praises, millet
