Nuts For Gum Leaves!

Featured Replies

Posted

The other day we had lots of strong wind during the night (scary) but the good thing is that lots of branches came down FULL of gum leaves. Walking home from school on friday i collected a huge bunch, and when i got home i washed them and gave them to the aviary budgies. They went NUTS for them. ;)

I'm just about to go clean the aviary now, there are chewed gum leaves EVERYWHERE!!! Then i'm going to put down some lino to replace the sand that i've been using, easier to clean. :D We even managed to find lino that looks sandy, so it won't scare the birds.

Oh I am so happy they had a great time with their new find. Great pics!

:feedbirds: You can really tell that your bunch dislikes them!! :D
