Posted July 31, 200717 yr Hey all. I just wanted to thank everyone for their advice and help while i was starting my breeding and I am sure everyone was well aware the trouble i went through. But this morning and right on time came Hatchling No 3 All my hens are loaded with eggs. I haven't candled them But have learnt i thibg or two ( From here of course ) that tells me if they are with out touching them... OMG THERE ARE BABIES :(Laughing out loud): So the mum is feeding them so well and their crops are WELL AND TRUELY FULL they are boldging out the sides * Is this normal as i couldn't find anything in the FAQ. The first one was born the 27th the 2nd born 29th and the widdle new one today 31st.... there are 4 to go..... July 31, 200717 yr Oh thank goodness.......I have thought of you many times as I was going through the process. I am so glad you did not become discouraged after such a rough start. BABIES...............Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!! I ended up with 8 chicks from 2 nests, so all is well here also. I can't tell you how good it is to hear you have finalllllllllllllllly had some success. Hugs! KC
