Posted July 30, 200717 yr Hope you enjoy a peep at my memories, as you will see, from one tiny budgie grew quite a full rescue sanctuary, and this is just a FEW of the guys :budgiedance: http://photos.imageevent.com/chirpy/memori.../world_0001.wmv
July 30, 200717 yr Author it sure was hard at times Daz At one point I had 44 parrots inside, and 6 wildbirds working on rehab outside :budgiedance: I loved every minute of it though, despite the fact that they all showed their gratitude by pooping all over me Edited July 31, 200717 yr by Daz
July 31, 200717 yr welcome back Chirpy it is wonderful to see your rescues again. I loved all the pictures my favorite was of the budgie on your face with the legs spread open (Laughing out loud). How is Teapot doing? (I believe that is his name yes?)
July 31, 200717 yr So glad to have you back Chirpy!! You must be so busy with all those birds, but i'm sure it's worth all the hard work to see them happy!! I would also love to know how Teapot is going.
July 31, 200717 yr Hi chirpy, it seems you have been very busy in your part of the world. Please let us know how your potty mouthed little Teapot is, and his friend (was it sky?)
August 1, 200717 yr Author Hi everyone, great to see you all again! And kaz, I am on a dolls forum because I was collecting Tiny tears Teapot is as wicked as ever, and Snowy his long term friend is great. The little budgie on my face was a bird that my petshop gave me because of her dreadful splay. However, she copes fantastically with it, and can fly like a dream Sadly, I have to let you know that I no longer have any birds They are all safe and well and rehomed together) I had a condition called Hypersensitivity Pneumonitis, and it was destroying my lungs. If Id carried on working with birds it would have killed me in the end, so although Im popping on and off the board, I can never go near a bird again I still have so many pictures and videos and memories though, I thank God that nothing cvan force those things away from me, and I still have my passionate love for all things feathered. Im coming to terms with everything slowly, but it was very hard getting used to the fact that there was no way I could keep any of my birds. At leasdt I know where they all are, and that they are doing really well, that counts for so much. xxx
August 1, 200717 yr Hey Chirpy, That is the saddest thing...you not being able to be around birds anymore. Will be a great loss to the feathered angels out there, I am sure. You can cyber-adopt any or all of mine if you like....Fairy godmother to my flock PS hows your doll collection ? Edited August 1, 200717 yr by **KAZ**
