Shiloh has just gone to nest with her first eggs to a my dominant pied violet boy SHADY. Shilohs previous partner Rocket died during a heavy moult and a heatwave in the aviary some weeks ago.

I will see how she goes with this clutch as she is nearly 4 yrs old and we have winter coming up when they will rest for a month or two.DSCF0212.jpg
That only applies for the type one doesn't it?

 

Type one or type two denotes whether the yellow 'bleeds' into the blue (type 2) or not (type 1), not whether they are double or single factor.
