Kathy, I have a wonderful husband, this time around. He's a winner. My first husband was abusive in all ways, so I figure Ken is my reward for all that.

I went to this breeder intending to get 4 hens. My husband saw the birds there and just said...I am going to the bank to get you some more money. He came back and told me to pick some more birds

My Favorites, lucky you Karen.

There IS some nice birds there, Nerwen More that I didnt get to photograph either. The one called ACK-ACK was sold off mostly because she is noisy and the breeder could not stand to hear her complain anymore. Temperamental cow she is. He said "good luck finding her a husband who will put up with it !!" :oliveb: I know she has flecking but she is a good type. The sky violet cock is stunning ....his colour in real life so very beautiful...doesn't show in thes photo real well. It is amazing to me how many show breeder do not realise they have sky violets birds and just call them cobalts. It is easily recognised once you are familiar with the signs. But I guess with showing budgies, there is only two blues in shows...sky and cobalt. :ausb:
