July 3, 200717 yr can I ask why you bought her if she seemed sickly? Just curious As for what we can do we can only guess but it MAY be a feather disorder or a nutritional deficiency. Flea markets are the worse place to purchase any type of animal because they are not taken care of properly from the start. If it was me I would keep her in quarantine like you are and book an avian vet appointment since you most likely can not return her. on a side note, the pictures I can't see very well but she looks like a pretty one Edited July 3, 200717 yr by Elly

July 4, 200717 yr so what about the foot how do u cure the foot You most likely cannot fix the foot. Whatever the problem is, is either a genetic one, a lack of calcium to parents or babies, or a nest injury. Anything like that...if its possible to be fixed...needs to be attended to at an earlier age. A vet visit would tell you more. Best you look at buying healthy budgies rather than flea market rejects, I would say. No such thing as a bargain basement budgie, really. :ausb: Edited July 4, 200717 yr by **KAZ**
July 4, 200717 yr She is pretty :ausb: I'm sure that an avian vet should be able to tell you what to do with her foot, if she is sick and how to help her, I would take her for a check up as soon as possible.
July 4, 200717 yr but i felt so sorry i had to get her and make her become healthy I did the same thing couple of times - felt sorry for some ill looking budgie. I think it's okay, but you must make sure she is separated from the other birds (she could be ill and your other budgies could get ill too) and have her checked by an avian vet.
