July 2, 200717 yr well to breed a double factor spangle all you need to do is breed them yourself by starting by breeding 2 spangles together. You have a 25% chance of getting a double factor spangle. as for the yellowface you would breed 2 yellow face spangles or 1 yellow face spangle to get the above possibility.
July 2, 200717 yr Ellys right a YF spangle to a spangle (or another yf spangle) will give you the type you want.
July 2, 200717 yr Yes a yf DF spangle and a yf sf spangle will give a chance of some DF spangles. I take it you mean to use Buddy in the breeding. I wasn't sure if he was still part of your flock or not.
July 2, 200717 yr Author No, I meant double factor yellowface (whiteface) sf spangle and a sf yf spangle
July 2, 200717 yr you would have to put 2 yellowfaces together with a 25% chance of a df yellowface (visually white) or a yellow face with a known double factor yellow.
July 2, 200717 yr The Double factor yellowface that shows up white is for the type 1 only. If you want the type 2 (that gets the colour bleed) I wouldn't use a bird like that. If you just want any type of yellowface spangle then yes it would work that parent would give the yellowface gene to each of their kids.
