:angel1: okay i rescued 2 budgies there doing great both playfully and vocally since friday they have gone through 2 cuttle bones is this normal

are they females? I have heard they can demolish cuttlebones

:angel1: as matter of fact yes she is the one that is demolishing it

is she is breeding condition where her cere is brown, for many hens chewing is a very natural thing

 

in the wild they are the ones to dig out and make the hole for the nest etc...

 

so i really wouldn't be concerned

If they haven’t had Cuttlefish for some time they will get stuck into it, but after that they will probably slow down & only eat as they need
