my first breeding pair ever hsve had three babies they are all out of the nest today all fully feathered! i took them out at about lunch time to give them a bath but i think i took them out during a feed and the two youngest had full crops and the oldest had an empty one!! the two youngest are eating seed and grass and the oldest is just nibbling the grass and food a little bit he is puffed up and eyes closed and he doesn't look good at all. iv'e put some eucalyptus leaves in there that might do something but will the baby survive the next feed or is it just plain sick. can i do anything? when the dad comes close hes at him to try and get some foood but the dad just flies away or ignores him!!

please help me i dont want to lose him!!!! :P

Has the baby got a poopy bottom ? If so, what colour poop ? It may not have been fed for over a day. Some parents just stop feeding their babies when they are keen to start laying more eggs. Have you removed the nestbox yet, or are parent s laying more eggs. You may need to get this baby to someone who can give it a crop feed with a crop needle. Might be, you need to find someone nearby who can help you do this or take over the care of this little one until it learns to eat. Can you try and feed the baby some handrearing formula from a bent spoon yourself. If he is begging for food from the dad he may take some from a spoon. Meanwhile you should have a source of warmth for these little guys, like a cage with a warm lamp.
