Posted June 23, 200718 yr My mothering hen has a blue cere but the petshop said it was scaly face or something but today when i wennt to take the babieds out the mother has a split straight through the middle of the cere there is blood on the breeding box roof! what do i do? is it sivere?
June 23, 200718 yr She could have had a fight with the dad, the bubs or even just scared herself and hit a box. It should have stopped bleeding by now. If she isn't having trouble standing on a perch or eating and drinking this is a good sign. If still trouble you can take the family to a avian vet for her to be check on.
