These are my first three baby budgies. After years of trying to breed i have!!!!!! They are looking terrific oldest 3 weeks old tomorrow next two days younger than that and then another day younger than that. the youngest is the all white one. But what sex (gender) are they? If anyone could help it would be gretly appreciated. PS the green and yellow bird in some of the pics is the mother.

I would have pictures of them all on there own but the camera battery ran out!!

(Laughing out loud). I will tommorow because the camera is on charge and it is to dark. But the two budgies that look the same have a pale grey cere and the full white one has a pink cere.

sounds like 2 females and 1 male but again that is just a guess from what you are seeing. Pics would be better with no flash of the cere

Looks to me that the white doulbe factor looks to be a hen, and the blue spangle that I can see it's head looks to be a cock bird, can't really see the other one but guessing cock. :rip:

okay guys I have the pics but they aren't the best and i only have ones of the younger two because the oldest is exactly the same of the second oldest. the pics ar'nt great because it is geetting dark and there wasn't enough light so the macro didn't work that well. but hopefully you guys can tell. here thay are

It is hard to tell but I would lean towards female for the both of them. The youngest could be male but the rings around the nares look strong in the picture.

 

If you want to try again try in a really bright room or even get a few lamps close together with the bubs under them to help with the macro and the blur.
