Visiting My Babies

Featured Replies

Posted

I visited my babies recently and this time I remembered my camera. I thought I'd share some pics with ya. There getting a wee bit chubby at my mom's because they don't get out as much as they did at my place. I cried the first time I saw them after the move. I miss them ALL so much.

Sylvester and Jewel are still very much in love. But no nesting box = no babies.

Max and Tweety are also still in love.

Daffy looks fantastic - I wonder if someone had been picking on her when she was at my place. All of her feathers are growing back.

Finnegan is also looking great. His cyst went away before he left my place and it has never come back.

Tazzy, my pretty boy.

Bella still looks great - although the spangle tracing on her flights isn't very noticeable anymore.

My handsome boy Kito.

Four of Sylvester and Jewel's babies - all hens - my sister has adopted.

Precious on the left. She has two twins - one here, and one with my other sister. They all look the same. This one my sister had to hand feed.

Hope you enjoyed.

it is wonderful to see the gang again, I am so glad your mom is able to help out caring for them. Thank you Shawna.

Shawna they are all looking absolutely fantastic. I can imagine how much you are missing them. If they are getting a bit tubby you should maybe consider putting them onto a finch mix or 50/50 budgie and finch. Finch mix contains fewer of the really fattening seeds. I really love Sylvester and Jewels Babies. They are so pretty.

*hugz* to you all

Feathers.

:P Gorgeous as always, were any of them excited to see you and wanted out? :ygbudgie:

Yes... Sylvester. He puffed his head up and talked to me. If I ever bring any home he will definately be one of them. I think that is why it was so hard, because I knew that he recognized me. :glare:.

:glare: Awe, that's so sweet! As you treat them so well, I would have thought more would have started carrying on but I guess they are accustomed to their new lifestyle without you. (which is sort of good in a sad way). :D Maybe you should bring home Sylvester now? It might help Lucas establish some sense of normalcy? And certainly one or two are easy to handle.
