The violet ones are 3 and a bit weeks old....and the hen bird is Ming....one of Kaz's brood...

All are doing fine...one of the greys in particular is quite large and seems to have a good head...well I thinks

so anyway....

Hope you enjoy...

They are gorgeous reminds me of a clutch of Merlins

The greys are beautiful :hap:

Hi Paul, lovely chicks. I loved the greys in the nest and they are looking even better now. The blue/violets in the nest also look absolutely fantastic.

Feathers.

As I said before Paul, they look wonderful chicks, those young cobalts or violets look nice, I have yet to breed a violet, & something I hope to have the pleasure of soon. That one Grey especially looks like it has good potential, best of luck with them. It’s nice how all you guys in the west swap birds etc & can visit & check each others birds out, it’s a bit quite like that here. That's why this forum is so good for me.

Thanks Norm for your kind comments....yes it is good that we can visit different peoples set ups...

You not only make a friend you also can gain other good insights in breeding....aviary set ups....and you are able to pick peoples brains and gain a lot of extra knowledge.....and yes also the ability to buy birds from people you know which is a big plus.....

Thanks Paul for my opaline grey :) She pigged out on seed all the way home in the car.

Why can't I see all the pics? I'd say she got the opaline one I can only see one.. Pics 3, 4, 7 & 9 don't come up.. picture number 8 look to be cobalt to me..

You have stunning birds..:D

They don't work for me either Lady. It is either due to the picture being moved breaking the link or deleted.

As to the grey - a wasn't sure if the second picture was a third grey or just another of the one in the fist picture.

oh okay, as I thought it was the same hen..:D

Which grey one did you get Karen?

I got the boofy grey opaline hen....boy does she bite HARD !! :)
