This is our last chance at getting our "boy" budgie, as there are no more babies to be found in our area.

 

We have named him 'Bobby' so if he turns out to be a she we can still call it Bobby (short for Roberta).

 

I will post some pics here of him to see what sex others think he might be.(Just in case we have got it wrong again).

 

We have been told that he is a Blue Opaline.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Yes I would think you have been lucky this time.

Do you know if DAD was an opaline ? From what I have worked out with opalines, you need mum to be one and Dad to either be an opaline or be split for opaline to get a male opaline budgie out of that nest.

 

PS Pretty budgie either way.

Yes I think you have been lucky, looks like a boy to me, he is an Opaline Sky Blue & he looks quite a good-looking bird at that.

its definately a boy, and a pretty one too.
