Posted June 3, 200718 yr Hey Everyone! nice looking place here! Well My name is Tim. I have been keeping budgies just as tame pets for about 6 years. I only just got a new one today as my other 2 passed away . The new budgie is only young as i got him from a friend from work who is a breeder so im not sure what sex it is yet. Im hoping to tame it and have a great little buddy. He is a blue and white colour. Just some stuff about me... well I live in Sydney Australia. I work in a pet shop which has given me knowlage on most "pet" animals. I love working there haha. I am really obsessed with fish and i have lots of em (Laughing out loud). I haven't got to take photos yet because i didn't want to stress him out more as he is just new to his surroundings but don't worry.... photos will come Talk to you guys soon, Tim

June 4, 200718 yr Thanks for the nice welcomes guys! Im still not sure on a name yet as im not sure if its a boy or girl although im thinking its a girl.....( i change my mind everytime i see it) so i guess ill just hate to wait a bit longer Any name ideas welcome!

June 10, 200718 yr hi im also new. my bird is yellow with pretty white tips on his face. he is about ten weeks. ive decided to call him billy, cause he is so silly and slides of the bench and lands on the floor. what a silly billy. billy will walk up on my finger and will sit on my shoulder but im still waiting for him to take the next step. i miss my last bird snowy who died at the vet in may. i miss all that i had with him. i just long for this bird to trust me. i remind myself that he has only been here two weeks, but.............. leanne
