Hello I've just bought 2 budgies a male and a female a new cage which I was told is big enough funny enough the female sits in the seed tray but they are so quite after 1 week of being home What's happening

Do you have a picture of your cage posted?

She may be exhibiting nesting behavior. Is she playing in the seed or nesting in it or guarding it :ausb:?

Will she let the other birds eat and get out?

How many hours of night do they get?
