This one is my best mates bird she breeds ( coloney style ) i don't think i have ever seen healthier birds but she doesn't seem to know what you guys know LMAO....

He will be in 30day lock up - But he was checked over before i picked this one

he is on loan i want to breed him with Ozzie she is a green version of him...

I want that seafoam type I love them hehehe

BBC FAQ Studding Birds in here it tell about how top breeders will still quarantine :ausb:. So I am glad you are following the advice and doing it for the safety of your birds and hers.

Neat, your Ozzie seems to be a green spangle ...is that right ? Unless she is split for blue you shouldnt end up with any like the new boy. Mating him to a skyblue spangle or skyblue normal should work. Ask the genetics buffs here. Also, as breeding is high stress and can bring out illness, in this particular case quarantine is ESSENTIAL for as long as you can do it, past the minimum 30 days. Show breeders mostly quarantine for 90 days.

I'm in no rush will wait till i can get set up properly first as i only have the 1 cage that prince is in and ( the flight one is now the Jail one (Laughing out loud) now and the aviary ...all nest boxes are out of there now....

Definitely a goldenface skyblue spangle, and a very pretty one at that. To get "seafoam" (which isn't a colour I would ever say) you would need to pair him to a cobalt normal or cobalt spangle. A 'seafoam' bird is a YF2 cobalt, generally.

I am glad you are going to quarantine as, especially when you just have a bird on loan, it would be awful to lose this bird, or make yours ill. Even though the bird may be been perfectly healthy at your friends place, the stress of moving could bring out a disease that they were carrying, but showing no signs of.

Feathers.

GASP................................He is beautiful!!!
