What Colour Do You Think

Hi guys.....can someone give me their opinion with the colour of this bird....

It seems to be a soft olive body with white cheek patches and yellow wings..

Looks like it could be an opaline of some sort.

The picture doesn't really show the colour that well.......the body is more of a yellowee colour....what do the white cheek patches indicate....

Paul, I am not sure how Nerwen pasts the little strip on the bird but click here http://wbo.bestofbreeds.net/budgerigarcolourguide.htm and see the strip color 398 that is the color your bird looks like. Remember they can be a tinch lighter or darker and still fall in that catagory. Check out the standards here right on BBC http://forums.budgiebreeders.asn.au/index....showtopic=12640 you can see the color strip too.

Grey greens are supposed to have black blue tails but because he is a spangle it gives him the clear tail.

The white cheeks patches I believe I remember reading that they are common on spangles.

I also agree with Kas :)

Paul, I have about 6 grey green spangles just like yours and you can bring yours for a colour match if you like. The cheek patches are correct colour for that type of spangle. :(

I think I can see cinnamon too..What does anyone else think?

Well, I saved the photo and magnified it, but the spangle markings are dark not cinnamon. I have a grey green cinnamon spangle and the markings are a light brownish not dark like this birds. So I say not cinnamon.
