i think violet spangle cock

the 2 i have said that are violet look blue in the picture but are a violet colour

I think...

1: Hen, I agree with your colour.

2: Cock, YF2 Recessive Pied Skyblue Spangle <- gorgeous bird!

3: Hen, YF2 Mauve

4: Boy, I agree with what you said.

Nice birds! :)

1 - Spangle Dominate Pied Cobalt. I can't see any real signs of violet such as very dark cheek patches or hue around the shoulders. I think hen

2 - Spangle recessive pied yellowface type 2. I think male the cere is very pink all over.

3 - Yellowface type 2 Mauve. It's hard to say I would lean to male.

4 - Spangle Cobalt. The blue is a bit darker than normal so I think you could be right with violet. Male.

the birds in picture 1 and 4 are almost the exact same colour

also as i said the cere on the 2nd bird the bottom half is brown and the top half is blue as thogh it is changing all to brown

A closer picture of the cere would help us to help you... in the photo provided the bird definatley looks male. :)

Violet rarely photographs realistically, if they look violet to you in real life, they probably are. :)

blues are hard to photograph I found the especially hard with Merlin who is a violet.

Nerwen I agree with you on everything you stated

On the 2nd bird I don't see the brown on the cere?

I believe 1 and 4 are both cobalts not violet

Beautiful birds

very blurry but even with the blur looks male too me a very pink cere
