Featured Replies

I'm surprised no one until now has brought up the cere colours

I listed their cere colours on Sunday when this topic first came up. Obviously no one read through the descriptions properly.

Feathers.

Male Df spangles have the normal blue (grown up ) cere

Male DEC have the pink baby cere colour always.

He seems to have other colours happening so maybe recessive pied ?

If he is over 6 months old and he still has a pink cere I am going with recessive pied as Kaz said. Double Factors are all yellow and may have a hue of green. He has green under his tail and I see a pied spot on his shoulder. In fact he may be a yellowface type 2 if the color between the feet looks more green bluish then the normal green?
