You bought a multivitamin, not a calcium only supplement. You need a calcium ONLY supplement for budgies with splayed legs. It is the way to get the deficient calcium straight into them immediately the problem arises. Brilliant product you have bought as a multivitamin supplement and great for all the other times and the other birds. But if you do have a baby with splayed legs you DO need to get calcium into it as an urgent need to help it along with treating by using the sponge method.

That is a very good suppliment for everything except Calcium. It is something I would be adding to a soft food.

 

But as Kaz said, it's not a calcium suppliment, unless you can see somewhere that has a calcium level?

On the bottle in Big letters say High in Calcium

 

I checked everywhere and I could not find a Calcium Only supplement.

 

I have already tired the spong method but the baby kept on romoving it off the mom did not care but it was the baby. It was hard to put the legs in the sponge.

 

Is there I can use the sponge method and avoid those problems.

 

How long does the spong have to be put on for

On the bottle in Big letters say High in Calcium a lot of things might be "high" in calcium but the idea is to use a liquid calcium supplement. Maybe you were looking for a powder and didnt see where they may have had other kinds

It was hard to put the legs in the sponge. try splitting a plastic drinking straw lengthwise, put baby legs in it and thread throught he holes
