In this article, they posted that budgies enjoy meal worms. I have never heard this before. Whats your thoughts? I'd never feed them this, but wanted your input on it

Budgies in the wild do peck at insects and stuff. I put mealworms in the aviary for my quails and finches and a few brave budgies will have a nibble. Most of my birds love shredded cooked chicken though.

There just another treat really, very high in protein. Most budgies don't recognize them as food though....

thats really interesting! i've never heard of it before, and never though to try it. I probably wont try, but its nice to know its okay.
