Posted May 4, 200718 yr Well with Blinkie it's probably more reasonable to say the love of the moment, but he's been very attentive to Miss Cookie and to my horror (and slight amusement) he climbed on her back (via her head, i don't know why she let him) with a bit of lovin' in mind. Luckily he's inexperienced in that department and fell off before he could get "in position". Will have to supervise more carefully if he doesn't lose interest again soon.
May 4, 200718 yr That is so cute! When I started working out at the aviary, there where a couple of young male budgies who obviously had too much testoserone... they would spend days on end riding around on the doves backs doing 'the grind'. It was hilarious! You get little kids pointing them out to their parents, "mummy! Look that bird is riding the other one! What are they doing?" Edited May 4, 200718 yr by ellulah
