2nd Pair - Romeo And Sebby

I love the fact that there are so many vairations on the blues. However i am going to need to put some split rings on the little blues to tell some apart later. Maybe a right leg, a left leg, and no ring. of course, if i knew their genders that would help and might make some rings unnecessary. Any guesses?

Mum did not appear to like the aviary at first. You have to remember, she ahs never seen it before, but she will adjust.

When I have reason to use split rings, Dave, I use left leg for boys and right leg for girls so I can tell at a distance who is who. :D

With so many birds I can understand you doing that. My dilemma is this, I have 2 male birds that look identical from the one clutch. I figure if I use the split ring on one, then I know which one is which - eg Tommy has the ring, and Eddie does not (the names used have been changed to protect their identities).

Boys to girls no probs with ceres and only 22 birds...so far

Well, everyone has now movied to the aviary and everything seems good.

In trying to catch Romeo, he ended up losing his tail feathers. they are growing back, but they now seem to be growing back iwht an unusual amoutn of white on them. I suppose it could be stress. Maybe.....

great picture I love the corn  and glad all is well.
