May 14, 200718 yr Hiya Kaz, is number 9 the one we pulled from another nest on Friday? I can't believe with all that work she has to do that she is even contemplating having more, let alone going ahead with it. Silly girl Feathers.

YES number nine is the one from that nest doing fine too. Pudding will, I expect, lay another egg tomorrow
May 17, 200717 yr Author Another egg yesterday from Pudding and it too has gone into a show budgie pairs nest. Most of Custard and Puddings babies are now in a "kindie" cage with some other youngsters to learn to eat and play and fly together.
May 17, 200717 yr HEy Kaz, Have you got more pics I can't believe she is laying more eggs??? Hehehe What a wonderful Mum, she wan't lots of kids (Laughing out loud)
May 17, 200717 yr Author HEy Kaz, Have you got more pics I can't believe she is laying more eggs??? Hehehe What a wonderful Mum, she wan't lots of kids LOL It will be harder to take piks now as most of the babies are in a mixed Kindie cage with others. I will try, but from experience that cage is hard to get good photos from.

May 17, 200717 yr Author I have moved Custard and Pudding into the kindie cage with a pile of assorted fledged baby budgies, all of theirs, their adopted ones and a few others from Oprah and Winstons box too. No more nest and eggs for Pudding. She may drop the next one from the perch but that would be the last one. Two she has laid are in Dunstan and Partners box.
May 17, 200717 yr Author Pudding laid an egg from the perch today ( number 3 ), and as it wasnt broken I put it in anothers nest. Edited May 17, 200717 yr by Kaz
