He came from the RSPCA, I will call up the lady at wildlife and see if the vets had a look over him. I they haven't, even if they have I think I will take him out to Sandy Hume, just to make sure there is nothing serious.

RSPCA probably doesn't have an avian vet but ask if the vet was a general vet or registered avian vet that is the key :(. Keep us updated and him and would love to see more pics of course. :D

Update.

David is living with my HR tiel, Todi. He really needed a companion to perk him up - he wasn't really interested in 'being' before. He would just sit and sleep all day.

Since the move he has perked up quite a bit! No weight gain yet, but he has lost the 'butterfly' quality to his flight. Before when he flapped his whole body would go way up in the air, it was really airy... sounds pretty put it didn't look good. He is now flying stronger and lands exactly where he wants too.

He eats all day! Every time I look in on him he has his head down in the dish. :D Him and Todi now sleep side by side, David leans on Todi too keep his balance - its really cute

I will get some more photos soon! :(Laughing out loud):

Just so you know, last i checked Sandy is on holiday until the middle of May.

 I might take him out to Jan Spate for a check up then... she is pretty good with the birds.

Oh, where's she? I'd be a lot happier having a back up number for when Sandy isn't available.

She is in Hall. She is very cheap, but her sugery is quite old... it doesn't make the best first impression but she is a great vet. She is excellent at diagnosis - I haven't seen her get it wrong! All of the sick birds from The Bird Walk go there, and so do most of the RSPCA wildlife that can't go to the RSPCA Vets. I don't know her number but I could find it for you.

That's be great!! If you find it i'd love if you could PM the address and phone number. It's a real pain when Sandy's on holiday cause it's ALWAYS when one of my guys needs a vet, (Laughing out loud)!

I snapped a picture before I covered them tonight, Todi woke up and moved so they aren't as snuggly as normal
