They are really good ways for runner budgies to keep fit. My Saffy (who is a runner) absolutely loves hers and is on it all the time. She is probably now the fittest budgie of the bunch.

Thats a really good idea for a runner budgie, Sailorwolf. We might have to remember to suggest it whenever people ask about "runners"

Wow she looks like a different budgies, I wonder if Merlin would use a wheel? :D

I bought Chucky a wheel but she isn't into toys. She climbed in one side and right outside the other and that was it! No fun for me at all :D

That was a great idea to put it in the toddler aviary. The inside works much better than the outside too :D I love it. I wonder if Pascale (my runner) would like one.

Ariane is doing well in the aviary, so I took a new photo of her to show how she is turning out. Despite weird head feathers due to her parents attack in the nest...she looks okay.

Here she is AAAJUNE114.jpg

What a gorgeous little lady... with an absolutely stunning name... My 10 month daughter is Ariana :( You've certainly done well in getting her, and I can't wait to see her progeny :D

I sent her picture to the top breeder who gave her to me. This is his reply

Karen,

I am continually impressed with your bird husbandary. Well done. I hope she goes well for you. She came from 2 good parents.

Ariane is a stunning young bird and it will be interesting to watch the journey when she starts to breed.

Feathers.

She has proved to be a very strong willed and lovely girl. Her crooked right eye seems better ( it was scarred in the attack ) and her head feathers are better than they were but not quite normal. She is bred from Henry George bred parents. :(
