Posted April 27, 200718 yr Here are a few more pics, some of the babies were born today the oldest being 8days old, are they cute. I didn't bother with any special effects this time. Cheers Julie Edited August 27, 200816 yr by **Liv**
April 27, 200718 yr I think the balls are "marbells" - don't know the spelling. Do you use them for the babies' support? It's a good idea
April 27, 200718 yr Marbles are used to replace eggs or to stop a hen sitting to tightly on a new born bubs (which can lead to splayed legs). If it's to replace egg I would remove them, the hen isn't going to worry with those mouths to feed.
April 27, 200718 yr They are such cute babies.I really like the yellow face grey bird, absolutely stunning.
April 28, 200718 yr Author Nice birds, are they blue eggs in the first two pics? No they are marbles, I put them in so they don't sit too heavy on the babies and hopefully stop the chance of getting splayed legs.!!! :ausb:
