I my hen layed 4 eggs and yesterday was th 18th day for the first egg and it did not hatch yesterday or today morning now I see the hen pushed a egg into the corner and is not sitting on it but sitting on the 3 other egs. My question is: Can the hatching date be extende to the 21st day etc.. , When an egg is about too catch do they stop incubating it , Does the hen stop sitting on the baby after it hatched.

Can you help me please

I checked right after I posted this post and found out that there is a bub inside the nest box

If a baby hatched will it abadon one egg

The hen will sometimes abandon an egg that she feels is infertile or she may have accidentally moved the egg with her tail. You can push the egg back into the nest with the others.

The reason the first egg didn't hatch when you expected it, is because the incubation time for budgie eggs is 18 days from the time the hen starts to sit on them. This normally doesn't happen until the hen has laid 2 or 3 eggs.

The hen will keep the babies under her after they are hatched to keep them warm.

That's okay, easy mistake to make. Sounds like all is well then :hap: Have you checked to make sure that the new bub has food in it's crop?

YEp the bub has food in his crop it is the 3rd clutch for this hen

Also 18 days is just the AVERAGE time it takes. Depending on how tight the hen sits can change the hatching length by a day or two.
