I got some "new blood" today....some pretty boys and just one hen. I have culled out a lot of my birds lately as I am heading in a new direction. But I am still keeping some of the pet types ( got attached to em

didnt I ? ).

Here's a rather beautiful new boy ( I am a sucker for a pretty Yellowface blue ) but he seems to have some violet or mauve happening too. I call him HAWK ...

Way to go Mammoth The cere does seem awfully dark now, doesn't it? Nice blow on a couple of those new ones, Kaz. Looking good.

I was very lucky...good timing meant I got these birds from top breeders cull just at the right moment and the right price

I love the first one and yes Mammoth gets my vote as a boy.

Id vote boy on Mammoth as well.

 

The real budgie poofs always throw me for a loop. They look so different to me. You dont see those very often in the US unless you are at a show.

Have you any 'good' birds that arent so good worth a look?? (hhmmm that didnt really make sense) But I may be down in a week or 2 if any pop up!! Actually I might chase a couple up to take back anyway (on second thoughts I might make a phone call to a breeder up here first!!) Sorry thinking out loud!!

I think Earl is so cute!

He has very nice dark feathers!

 

Earl's my fave to esp that pose ..... They are all nice even King, Love those Boofy heads (Laughing out loud)
