April 27, 200718 yr :oliveb: Is everybody looking better today as it has now been a few days (no idea how long it takes for those horrible toxins to leave their little bodies). :angel1: Edited April 27, 200718 yr by Phoebe
April 27, 200718 yr Author :oliveb: Is everybody looking better today as it has now been a few days (no idea how long it takes for those horrible toxins to leave their little bodies). :angel1: Most of the sick ones in the hospital cage are perching. A good sign. There are four not so well. But they all made it through a cold night last night. Mind you, the hospital cage has a warm lamp on, but we shall see what today brings. The ones too sick to feel like eating get crop fed and its a great way to get their medicine into them at the same time.
April 27, 200718 yr :oliveb: WHAT a nightmare! I know nothing about nothing but the fact these guys have made it this far over the course of a few days, gives me great hope! (((HUGGOS))) :ygbudgie:
April 27, 200718 yr I'm so sorry :ausb: . You must feel horrible. I'll be thinking about your babies, so they get better soon :oliveb:
April 27, 200718 yr Author There was a bit more activity around the food tonight in the hospital cage. I gave them some hibiscus as well which they were chewing on as well as their seed. A small few still huddling in a corner, but Fuzzychops was perching after he ate...a good sign. Some looking much brighter.

April 28, 200718 yr :hap: Kaz i'm so sorry.. I've only just read this now and what a shock i must say.. Poor hubby must be feeling like a right (edited: DONKEY) .. I hope this doesn't come out sounding weird or anything and i hope you know what i mean but after reading your first post i was kinda a little relieved. Racing through my mind at first was that the branches were infact CONTAMINATED with something and not just toxic.. I was really worried that it was something that was contagious going through your aviary.. i'm going to go and google up some boxwood images because i wasn't aware of them before this.. Hugs to you Karen and :angel1: RIP all you special little ones that went to the rainbow bridge Una Edited April 28, 200718 yr by »-(¯`Una´¯)-»
