April 22, 200718 yr Author thank so much guys. So it is olive right? I got another question... This is buddy on the right http://s150.photobucket.com/albums/s98/177...nt=IMG_0646.jpg This is Cherry http://s150.photobucket.com/albums/s98/177...nt=DSC03514.jpg They both yellowface type 2 correct?? But buddys blue is darker than cherrys so would that mean that cherry is yft2 sky blue and that buddy is yft2 mauve blue?? Edited April 22, 200718 yr by Marlony
April 22, 200718 yr So it is olive right? It sure is, Marlon. They both yellowface type 2 correct?? But buddys blue is darker than cherrys so would that mean that cherry is yft2 sky blue and that buddy is yft2 mauve blue?? Buddy looks to be a YF2 Cobalt opaline spangle and Cherry looks like a YF2 skyblue opaline cinnamonwing. Feathers Edited April 22, 200718 yr by feathers
April 22, 200718 yr Author whats a cinnamonwing? brown on the wings? I also think buddy is clearflight pied as you can see here. http://s150.photobucket.com/albums/s98/177...nt=IMG_0716.jpg Edited April 22, 200718 yr by Marlony
April 22, 200718 yr whats a cinnamonwing?brown on the wings? yep. That's it! I also think buddy is clearflight pied as you can see here. Sorry, I don't see it there... His flights have spangle markings, whereas a clear flight has NO markings at all and I am unsure where you are seeing the pied markings. Feathers
April 22, 200718 yr This is a clearflight pied, I agree there with Feathers http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f8/kaz_d...der/av3034x.jpg
April 23, 200718 yr This is a clearflight pied, I agree there with Feathers Elly, did you accidentally miss out the word "not"? Feathers.
April 26, 200718 yr Author okay, i was reading a little more about genetics, and i found out that a doubble factor spangle has almost no markings and that a double factor yellowface has a white face. Would that mean that Buddy and cherry are both single factor yellowface and singlefactor spangle????
April 27, 200718 yr It can get confusing, can't it. It takes a while to get your head around it all :oliveb: You did well, Marlon. Feathers.
