and I think we can safely say Laila is NOT a dominant pied spangle opaline as first thought....as we have never had an dominant pieds from either of these two.

Very cute- I love Curry he just has a certain..something!!

It took me a few clutches to get pieds out of my two pieds. She does look it though!

I agree! Curry is spectacular!! So bright and energetic looking! Gorgeous!

Both bubs look great. And why can't she be dominant? she just might like holding that gene close to her feathers  Granted out of two clutches you would think a pied would show.

She's a hard one to pick. She has had three clutches she has raised and one smaller clutch someone else raised of hers and no dominant pieds so far. I would have thought they would have shown up by now

BUT there is always surprises and its down to percentages I suppose. She DOES have iris rings too so recessive is out. I would LOVE to have one show up in a nest like her but Curry is green based so she would have to go with a blue boy I guess.

Beautiful babies and I agree with Nerwen it is all relative when it comes to nature (is that what they say (Laughing out loud) ) we have the % but get this Tim and I both have brown eyes our kids both have blue that is a 25% chance (Laughing out loud) so again....only God knows
