They are beauties Hommer. Glad you are taking care of the mites. I'm sure that was miserable for them.

very pretty budgies hommer,love the pied one.

The first thing that came into my head when I saw that bowl was "budgie salad".My auntie use to always put her salad in those wooden bowls at bbq's.

i wonder if have the same mites in the uk. glad the babys were rescued.and they are recovering.i hope i dont get nightmares from the freaky budgie picture?

well there small and red if you sqash em you get a bright red mark on the box

here is the bird that landed on my cage with the red mites all over it.

and I don't have a spare cage so it's a waste of time catching it. :P

:D looks like I did but you can never be to sure as the eggs they lay can take up to four days to hatch :P
