This picture just freaks me out (scaly face, from mites, apparently!): This looked like a cute coat to help stop a bird from over-plucking itself: European red mite: http://images.google.com.au/url?q=http://w...KPCfJu8-QVAVEI= http://tfpg.cas.psu.edu/images/EuroRedMite.gif Another 2 red mites: (Not sure if this is the right type, but..) http://biology.clc.uc.edu/graphics/taxonom...carcass%201.JPG Southern red mite: http://woodypest.ifas.ufl.edu/images/southmit.jpg from: http://woodypest.ifas.ufl.edu/203.htm http://woodypest.ifas.ufl.edu/mites.htm They all look nasty! I hope your little ones are okay Hommer!! (They are cuties too! )

April 13, 200718 yr awww poor things... But what do redmites look like if I may ask? well there small and red if you sqash em you get a bright red mark on the box here is the bird that landed on my cage with the red mites all over it. and I don't have a spare cage so it's a waste of time catching it.
April 16, 200718 yr looks like I did but you can never be to sure as the eggs they lay can take up to four days to hatch
