Hi Everyone,

 

Getting back into Budgies and finches and I am building an Aviary and a bird room.

 

Would love to ask people if anyone knows of anybody in Melbourne that supplies Breeding Cages or Cage Fronts.

 

Would love 6 or 8 cages to start with. I have checked Ebay but nothing in the last 3 weeks.

 

Also have searched internet everywhere for cage fronts but no luck.

 

I'm sure there is someone that builds to order similar to Daz in Queensland!

I would try contacting a budgerigar or bird club in your area. A lot of these clubs hold stock items for members and have once a month meets where they sell such items at reduced prices in comparison to petshops. I know we do over here in W.A. , so try phoning some bird clubs and see what you can find out. Other places of course are the larger bird supply stores. We have Birdworld here and other similar places.

Hi Wayno, I was in Melbourne recently and picked up some show cages from a budgerigar show. There were a couple of people out the front that had breeding cages and stock cages for sale. Get in touch with the Budgerigar Council of Victoria and they may be able to give you details of the people who sell them or tell you when the next show is on so that you can check it out.

If you get desperate 'The Bird Company' here in Adelaide ( Main North Road ) sells cage fronts in all sizes.

Here just on the fringe of Melbourne outer suberbs there is "Nunawading Birds and Pets" licensed wildlife dealer Ph.
