Hi guys here are the updated Pics of my babies.

 

But sadly :budgiedance: one has splayed legs.

 

 

I have name them

 

1st: SPEEDY beacause he is really fast

2nd: FLAPPER beacause he flaps alot (splayed)

3rd: FUSSY beacuse he is fussy

4th: GOOFY beacause he fell out of the nest box

Don't be sad splayed legs are fixable and need to be fixed now so the bird is not in pain when it grows up or the hips dislocate. Just to throw a spanner in the works...guys. A small spot might mean something other than dominant pied remember. The tiny spots can also be a part of spangle inheritance or even recessive. I have had what looked like normals with a tiny spot and that was from the spangle to recessive parents. Way back to breeding spangles dominant pieds were used. Spangles often have a spot and I have had chicks from spangle parents with a small spot.

Maybe CC isnt dominant pied but born, instead of a spangle parent or showing recessive genetics ?

We have been in contact about the splay legged baby and Lankan is under advise. He has done the sponge treatment although I need further pictures of it to see if the holes are correctly placed as they may need to be closer, and the ESSENTIAL liquid calcium has not yet been purchased or used.
