It was worth the wait to see the pics! He is a gorgeous bird, I am sure he will be a show stopper.

Are his parents getting any better at parenting? :oliveb: We shall have to wait and see. Mother has five eggs. Maybe she tossed him out as he was an only child. It has been known to happen that way with one only chicks. Time will tell. If Mum proves to be a bad mother again I can foster like I did this time

Yay, I love Vinnie, I wish you everyone could see his actual colour. BEAUTIFUL! (You can see the depth of colour on the left hand side of the first photo)

Umm yes. I looked at the crustiness on that first phot0 and thought you were right the first time. It was a girl, then a boy, but looks girl again now.

Ignore the "crustiness" as he/she has just eaten soft eggfood. Check out the cere colour :D

Vinnie is Merlin's BIG twin what a gorgeous BOY.

That is why I could never get Mammoth right I would always say girl. How old Kaz? Because her cere should be in the process of changing blue at this point right?

Mammoth is still a baby and born March 19th

well then time will certainly tell....you know the crusty could be from rubbing on branches here and there but then you can see it better and know better then I. Merlin's gets crusty and so did Pretty's from rubbing here and there.
