April 15, 200718 yr Author Mammoth spent the whole day out in the breeder cage today. I was gone the whole day at a bird show and meeting and Ken told me Mammoth was out all day. I put her away tonight when I got home. HUGE crop on her I cannot believ how well Curry and Laila are feeding all 7 of these babies !! Amazing. PS I showed four birds and all got 1sts.

April 15, 200718 yr Author I made a mistake and entered the cinnamon texas clearbody as a fallow ( I have one just like it in fallow but it was home...I got confused ).....but they corrected it when judging and she got a first anyway. I may enter Mammoth as an UBC ( unbroken cap ) if she grows well over the next few weeks

April 17, 200718 yr Author She was having a cuddle with Ken today. He was taking a chance. The cat was within 2 feet. I reminded him that supposedly young non flying baby budgies could take off suddenly and to shoo the cat away. I put her back in the nest. Men !

They are in for a big, long holiday.....at least till around Christmas, and I will only breed them if they want to be in it together. Might need them as foster parents for the show budgies in the future.
